Kaitlyn and I have been wondering about some things we could do for Easter for a fundraiser.  We came up with making Easter egg decorated cream cheese sugar cookies.  While pondering.....   The girls had their piano lessons this past Thursday (March 8) and the owner commented about the coconut balls.  Saying they were delicicous.  He asked if she would be making them again?  I told him we were possibly thinking about it but it wouldn't be until Easter.  He then said "You mean I have to wait until Easter?"  He then proceeded to tell me he would order 4 large containers (64 pieces) and then may have more orders later.  I told him that could be arranged.   It is a lot of hard work for just a few.  I then went out and called a good friend that loved them so much and she ordered too.  I also, FB to see if anyone wanted some while she was making some.  So in short Kaitlyn will be making coconut balls this week to deliver Thursday.

After making a few phone calls and FBing I went in for the lessons.  Samantha was having her lesson so Kaitlyn was sitting on the couch waiting her turn.  I proceeded to tell her about Mr. Woodall and his comments about the coconut balls.  Her face lit up and she was very excited!

We went shopping yesterday (Saturday, March 10) to find an egg cookie cutter so she could make peanut butter cups into egg shapes and dip them.  Today or Tomorrow we will be putting the finishing touches on the order form.  Items including the cookies, coconut balls, peanut butter eggs, and banana bread.  She is really excited to get back to baking.
