She has finished her chocolates!!!!  It was a lot of fun for us.  She did a great job learning about making peanut butter cups and coconut balls.  She did have a few sad moments trying to figure it out and do it right.  I told her it just takes practice.  I have been doing them for about 10 years now.  We did have a few late nights.  One night we stayed up until about 2:15 a.m. when we ran out of chocolate for dipping and painting.  This was a Saturday and so we did have to get up for 8:30 a.m. church and she did.  A little for wear but ready to go.

I asked her this morning what she learned about the experience.  She said, "the hardest part was painting the cups for peanut butter and making the coconut balls the same size".  Kaitlyn on coconut : "Why do they have to be sooo sticky"; the easiest part was "actually spooning in the peanut butter and topping the coconut after it was dipped with the almond".  She also, "loved putting the boxes together and delivering them".

We talked about getting tired of chocolate on our late night and she said she could never get tired of chocolate, she would like to have a small piece everyday.  Unlike her mother at the end it didn't look good anymore.

We did a final count on how many she sold:  553 peanut butter cups and 406 coconut balls with and without almonds (mostly with almonds)  There were a few left over that she is excited about eating. *smiling*

She did well on this fundraiser, combined with what was left from the last one and the chocolates, she raised enough to make another payment.  I am very proud of her!!
